Executive Chef Serge Delage heads the culinary team at the award-winning Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona, acclaimed as one of the world's Top 100 Names in Travel by Condé Nast Traveler Magazine.
Serge is a native of Provence, south of France and a graduate of the Ecole Hoteliere de Paris. He is one of only 60 chefs in the United States to have been inducted into the exclusive Académie Culinaire de France. This highly recognized honor is reflective of Chef Delage's unique culinary creativity and expertise.
As Executive Chef, Serge leads La Paloma's culinary team in developing and presenting exciting culinary concepts for all of La Paloma's resort and Country Club dining outlets. The hallmarks of his kitchen are a deep passion for style, a love of cuisine in all of its forms and creative, unique presentations. Nowhere is this more evident than in the culinary team's thoughtful and personal touch, which they bring to the menu design and food presentation. With his relaxed, warm personality and his charming sense of humor, Serge brings culinary innovation and international flair to La Paloma's team of dedicated service professionals.
Serge has been with Westin Hotels and Resorts for the past 33 years, bringing nearly 43 years of experience in the culinary field that includes time with the Hyatt, Fairmont and Imperial hotel companies in London. He has worked in France, England, Switzerland and the Bahamas, in addition to the United States.
